William R. Pursell is the founding member of the firm and brings a broad range of experience to the practice. Mr. Pursell is a 1989 graduate of Stetson University in Central Florida, with a B.A. Degree, and double major in Political Science and History. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Regent University in Virginia Beach in 1994 and was admitted into The Florida Bar in 1995. In 1999 he opened his practice in Tallahassee, Florida, expanding to Gainesville, Florida in 2007.
In his years as a trial attorney, Mr. Pursell has represented hundreds of clients, involving cases on the ground, in the air, and on the water.

Sven L. Smith graduated from Law School in 1999 at Florida State University. In addition to working at the Law Offices of W.R. Pursell, Mr. Smith also teaches Criminal Procedure at The University of Florida Department of Law and Society.
Mr. Smith brings seven years of legal experience in Appellate Law and Civil Litigation.
